Insider's Guide to Telluride with Victoria Crawford

In this episode Nicole and Sarah host ski mom Victoria Crawford, a true Telluride insider who gives us the scoop on this iconic ski town. Victoria tells us about getting to and getting around Telluride and shares some great tips to plan the perfect trip.

When Victoria moved out to Telluride in the early 90’s when it was not a well known ski town like it is today.  She planned to stay for a year and 32 years later she never left :) Victoria has seen the town grow and change over her years there. 

Victoria tells us about the layout of Telluride, an old mining town and the mountain village. Telluride is in a box canyon which gives the town and mountain a unique setting.  We get some great tips on where to stay and the best ways to get to this out of the way town. 

We also hear Victoria’s recommendation for the best places to eat and drink both on and off the mountain. Alpino Vino is a favorite for an on-mountain dining splurge, and you’ll find more locals at Oak.

There are a lot of other activities in Telluride, including ice skating, hiking, tons of great nordic ski options and yoga.
