In this episode Nicole and Sarah revisit a favorite episode from season 1 with ski mom Heather Burke, Travel Editor at FamilySkiTrips.com
This time of year a lot of us are thinking about new equipment for the upcoming season, but navigating gear can be confusing. Heather talks to us about how to find the right skis and boots, skis designed for women, demo days - and much more.
Heather learned to ski at 3, her mom says she was more natural skiing than walking! Heather grew up in the ski biz, her parents ran a ski lodge at Smugglers Notch in Vermont.
Heather and her husband Greg have raised two skiers, and have skied over 225 ski resorts around the world.
Heather launched FamilySkiTrips.com in 1995 as a resource for families on where to ski, the best ski resorts, and even how to pack and dress for skiing.
