Ski Mom Photographer Hooey Wilks Shares Her Vintage Ski Creations

In this episode Nicole and Sarah visit Hooey Wilks at her studio, Hooey Mountain.  Hooey shows us her the vintage toy skier collection that she photographs on snow at ski resorts around the world. The photographs truly pulled us in, they are fun and engaging, and we found ourselves leaning in to get a closer look at all the details. 

The vintage toy skiers in Hooey’s photographs evoke a nostalgic feeling, but are bright and modern at the same time.  Hooey’s photos brought us back to some of our favorite ski trips. 

Hooey’s amazing photos would be a great gift for anyone who loves to ski. We could see these hanging in a ski house or any house with people who just love to ski and play in the snow. 

Hooey also shares stories about her own ski journey growing up skiing in NY state and Vermont with her friends and family.
