Hike Like a Mom with Rebecca Walsh

In this episode Nicole and Sarah host Rebecca Walsh, ski mom to 2 boys (ages 9 and 10) living in Laramie, Wyoming. Rebecca grew up in Bozeman, Montana and learned to ski as a toddler - both alpine and cross country skiing.

Rebecca is the founder of Hike Like a Woman, a platform (website, YouTube, mini-courses, podcast+) focused on getting women outside, learning new skills and exploring with confidence. 

Rebecca tells us all about her latest ventures and how being diagnosed with breast cancer led her to focus her businesses on what she loves - skiing and hiking. 

Rebecca takes us through her journey to founding Hike Like a Woman - and where it is now.  Rebecca has developed a wide range of “Hike Like a Woman” resources from YouTube (how to videos) to podcasts (see links below).  

We get some great insights into how to simplify your approach to hiking - and just get out there.  Rebecca has some great tips for how to connect with other outdoor groups in your community (start with the local gear shop).
